And you will ask me, what exactly is over 9000? My nerd points? The strength of Goku!?!?

No, it has nothing to do with my nerd points or with Dragon Ball! I'm talking about our dps! I recently posted that in front of us we had 2 big dps challenges. 1st one being Blood-Queen Lana'thel and 2nd being Festergut. Well our dps team didn't fail. Healers did a good job too, of course, but they had enough glory in the previous "news".  Now, let's clear something up, we recently got a sweet 5% stamina/healing and damage buff, Strength of Wrynn, which made things easier.

Getting 2 heroic bosses down in one day is, still, amazing. I can safely say that our healing team is superior at our dps team( Dreamwalker healed up before the "nerf") but things can change on our way to the Lich King. If it wasn't clear enough by now, yesterday we killed both BQL/Festergut in Heroic: ICC. In other words we still need to kill Professor Putricide, Sindragosa, The Lich King, Deathbringer Saurfang and Lady Deathwhisper. 5 Hard Modes to go, 7 down.

We recently sucks at getting in position for kill pics, so you will have to excuse me but this is all i can show you.

 

 

 

Should i hide the chats to avoid any confusion? This was the question i decided to answer with "really, who cares?"

Let me explain some "weird stuff" on this pic. Yes, even Ninf sometimes die. If  you are the type of player that love checking everything in a pic, like i normally do, you will probably find, in my 1st chat, "CT_raid blablabla.. Rotface killed with difficultly 25 normal". "OMG NINF DID YOU JUST LIE TO ME THEN!?!?" Calm down, it's not my fault if this mod can't understand the difference between normal and heroic difficulty. "I DON'T BELIEVE YOU ANYWAY, I WANT PROOFS!!!11". Damn kids, here, have your proofs; 1) In the minimap you can clearly notice the skull above "25" in the red flag, if that wasn't enough go check our WoLs!

Back to BQL HC. This fight is boring, not easy but really boring. Soon or later i will start making movies again and i really wonder if i should make a video about her. Before the zone buff  this fight was demanding. Some nice dps and healing coordination were needed to actually take her down. Now, i'm not sure about it. Well, if you are going to lose a bitten player early in the fight you will still wipe but the requirements to take her down, changed for sure. She has the same "normal mode" abilities: Pact, fear, fire and bite. These abilities are working like in normal mode and, of course, they deal more dmg. She went from 59.4mil hp to 71.3mil hp. I can see this fight changing from "demanding" to "ez" in the moment we start gearing up with 277ilvl and/or when the zone buff will be increased. We will see, i guess! 

Professor Putricide yells: Terrible news, everyone, Rotface is dead! But great news everyone, he left behind plenty of ooze for me to use! Whaa...? I'm a poet, and I didn't know it? Astounding! Festergut.... Fester HC was(still is?)  hard, so i thought last week, when we decided to wipe on him for 1(?) hour. I had the feeling this fight would require some time, hours if not days and loads of work to position people correctly. The fight required something like 9-10k dps(min) from everyone to actually get him down, before  the berserk timer. We killed him on the 3rd pull, believe it or not.

A tribute to the healers!

Nah, its not ToGC, we are done with this dungeon. Its ICC heroic! Our healer team did an awesome job. After various trys they managed to heal the Dreamwalker up to 100%!

 

 

"We wiped at 99%"  Don't you find this sentence a lil weird? I personally do, on all the other encounters in WoW, all of them but this one, you could safely say that your raid sucked balls, here, its another story. We had it happening one or two times today and most of us found this sentence weird. I really liked this hard mode and i also applaud Blizzard for making this type of fight, i'm not an healer but i can guess most of them just love this type of encounter.

So it seems our healer team was ready and won one of their 1st hard mode challenges. What about our dps team? Well in front of us, we have at least 2 big challenges where we, dps, should make the difference. We will see if we are capable of showing the same type of effort/focus our healers had vs the Dreamwalker.

In conclusion 5/12 hard modes down, 7 more to go.

Loot me!

So, here i'm again, What happened in the past 2 days? Well, like the title says, we got 4 hard modes down. What we have killed? Lord marrowgar, Rotface, the Blood Council and Gunship. Lord Marrowgar isn't easy but its not -that- hard, as long as you don't have lag or players with moving issues. Yes, after the lag was gone we did 1 or 2 more pulls and we got him.

 

Gunship is clearly the hardest fight in the game right now. . . ok, ok who i'm kidding, it was so easy that we had some guildies asking if it was setted on heroic. Once again, i will share my personal opinion about this "Boss"; Dear Blizzard, the gunship battle cause lag, server instability and after the 1st 3-4 times you get it down its not fun anymore. Yes, it was cool. Now, could we please remove both gunships and have a flying path that will port you in the Saurfrang's room, where we would find the Gunship chest? I don't like to waste my time. Removing it  would mean, 0 or less lag for most of the guilds going in ICC nowadays, server stability and loads of happy raiders = profit? Thank you.

 

Back to the hard modes, after we got the Gunship, we went straight to Rotface. "Good news everyone! I've fixed the poison slime pipes!" . He fixed them for sure, everything is doing more damage, yea, after all it's an hard mode. The real challenge started at 30%. I  was calling out the names of the players with mutated infection, on vent. At around 30% (in normal mode he spawns oozes faster) the hard mode switched from a normal/hard lvl to a crazy level. To give you more informations, at some point, i couldn't call fast enough the names of the players with mutated infections. The dps requirement are medium-high, with just 1 death you might wipe cause you are going to miss heals or dps. 

 

The second raiding day started with a Blood Council kill! The only thing worth mentioning is the debuff called Shadow Prison. Moving = + stacks of shadow prison. +stacks = +damage, so in a fight where normally you need to move a lot, you can't actually move a lot.. c wut i did thar?
